[Sportschosun Kim So-hee] Singer and actress Son Dam-bi candidly opened up about the changes in her skin after giving birth and her worries about aging.
On the 19th, a video titled "How a Mom in Her 40s Like Son Dam-bi Manages Herself" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Dambi Son.
That day, Son Dam-bi marked Wellness Day by introducing the supplements she actually takes and her daily self-care routine, while also sharing an update on her life.
She said, "When I was younger, I didn't really notice the effects of supplements, but after taking them consistently, I can tell they really help." She also mentioned the supplements she takes, including probiotics, calcium, magnesium, and vitamins A, B, C, and D.
She added, "I try not to stress about food, so I eat whatever I want. Instead, I pay more attention to supplements and exercise." She also said, "If something is supposed to help my skin, I prefer to take care of it consistently at home rather than going to a dermatology clinic."
Son Dam-bi later headed out for exercise, including Pilates, and finished a meal after working out on an empty stomach. She also revealed various self-care methods, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and NAD injection, showing a strict daily wellness routine.
In particular, she mentioned her daughter as the reason she is so diligent about managing aging. Son Dam-bi said honestly, "My baby is still so young, so I can't get old."
She also introduced her bedtime routine and spoke about the physical changes she has experienced since giving birth. Son Dam-bi said, "When I look at old videos, I sometimes get shocked. During IVF treatment, I was very swollen, and after giving birth, my facial line definitely changed."
She continued, "I was never someone with a lot of chin fat, but now it feels like my double chin gets fuller even when I diet. My skin seems to have loosened, and fine lines have appeared." She added, "I started wondering if this is what aging is."
She went on to say, "My chin is on the smaller side, so I think that makes it look even more noticeable. That's why I've been consistently taking care of it with a radiofrequency massager," sharing both her concerns and her self-care method.
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married former speed skater Lee Kyu-hyuk, who is five years older than her, in 2022, and welcomed their daughter Hae-i in April last year.
