Hwasa of MAMAMOO shared her thoughts after receiving a shout-out from Jensen Huang.
The episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Seasons: Sung Si-kyung's Lips Are My Boyfriend' that aired on the 19th featured artists from a wide range of genres, including MAMAMOO, NELL, Raisa, and BOYNEXTDOOR, who took the stage.
That day, MAMAMOO appeared as a full group for the first time in three years and eight months, performing their debut song, 'Mr. Ambiguous,' and adding to the excitement.
After the performance, Sung Si-kyung said, "We can't avoid talking about this right now. She's the hottest one," and brought up Hwasa, who recently received a shout-out from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang.
Hwasa responded, "At first, I thought it was AI. When I first heard the news, I felt honored, but it still didn't feel real," sharing her reaction at the time.
Sung Si-kyung joked, "It's not really an honor. It's just that a businessman said he liked her," adding, "But he's just extremely rich," which drew laughter.
Hwasa then said, "As time goes by, I take the shout-out more seriously, and I feel grateful every time I go to sleep," adding a warm touch to the moment.
Earlier, Jensen Huang appeared on 'You Quiz on the Block' and confessed that he likes Hwasa's music. He said, "I love Hwasa's music very much. Hwasa is incredibly charming," and added, "'Good Goodbye' is great, and the new album 'So Cute' is great too." 'Good Goodbye' was released in October last year, while 'So Cute' is a new song released in April this year. In response, Yoo Jae-suk said, "How do you know about the new song? Hwasa's 'So Cute' is going to be a hit again. Oh, Hwasa, you're lucky," drawing laughter. Jensen Huang praised her further, saying, "She has excellent vocal skills," and "Hwasa is also an exceptionally talented dancer."
