[Sportschosun, Reporter Lee Woo-joo] The husband of the "Worried Couple" from "Divorce Deliberation Camp" spoke about the filming set.
On the 19th, the YouTube channel "Jangbyeonho" uploaded a video titled "We Finally Met a Legend from Divorce Deliberation Camp. Divorce Deliberation Camp Behind-the-Scenes Q&A."
The husband of the "Worried Couple," one of the most memorable couples on JTBC's "Divorce Camp," said after appearing on the show in February that he was in the middle of divorce proceedings. Jo Seung-hwan, who said the case is still ongoing, explained, "We still have joint custody, so we meet every week. We meet when I drop off the baby, we meet when I pick the baby up, and then we fight again."
When everyone reacted in surprise and asked, "You still fight then?" Jo said, "She just asks for money and has a lot of demands. She brings up all the complaints she had during the week. I don't really respond well, but I do talk. Since the kids are there, I try to ignore it as much as possible."
Jo Seung-hwan said, "I don't like it when the kids hear loud voices. That's why we got divorced, and I don't want to show that kind of behavior again. The kids are still young." He added, "They said the divorce case would be finished by the first half of the year at the latest, but no proper date has been set yet, so we're waiting."
What viewers were most curious about regarding "Divorce Camp" was whether the show had a script. All three said there was no script, but the wife from the mutual lawsuit couple said, "They kind of edit only the bad parts."
Jo Seung-hwan revealed, "For two days, I really held back. Even when my wife kept criticizing me, I ignored it and didn't curse. But the writers came over and told me, 'You shouldn't hold back so much,' and asked me to show my real self. So I said okay, and that day while talking, I cursed. Then the writers applauded and said that was enough."
In response, the wife from the fighting couple said, "At first, I wondered if he was being conscious of the camera," and added, "That won't do. I think his ex-wife would feel wronged. He needs to show his true self."
