Lee Yong-jin Ends Up Calling for Help Over a Bodily Need... "No Bathroom, No Toilet Paper" ('2 Days & 1 Night')

[Sportschosun, Reporter Kim Jun-seok] The members of '2 Days & 1 Night' are heading into what may be their toughest ordeal yet, as they move from remote mountain terrain to being stranded on a deserted island.

In the first episode of the 'Deserted Island Check-In' special, which airs on the 21st on KBS 2TV's variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' (hereinafter '2 Days & 1 Night'), the story unfolds in Wando County, South Jeolla Province.

On this day, new members Lee Yong-jin and Lee Gi-taek arrive at the opening location in much more relaxed outfits than the suits they wore for their first recording.

Having grown much closer to the existing members through their first trip, the two head off on a new journey while chatting in high spirits.

After the opening, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team boards a boat and heads to the base camp for this trip.

But when they arrive, they find themselves on an uninhabited island with no residents at all, and everyone is stunned by the harsh conditions, including the lack of electricity.

To make matters worse, Lee Yong-jin faces an emergency caused by a bodily need. With no bathroom in sight and not even any toilet paper available, he reportedly sent an urgent SOS to the production team.

Interest is growing in how Lee Yong-jin, who has reached his biggest crisis since joining '2 Days & 1 Night', managed to overcome the emergency.

Meanwhile, the eldest member of '2 Days & 1 Night', Kim Jong-min, does not hold back in praising the show's newest youngest member, Lee Gi-taek.

In particular, he even makes a prediction, saying, "Gi-taek is doing well now, but I think he'll be doing incredibly well in three years. Lee Gi-taek's era is coming," leaving Lee Gi-taek beaming.

The story of the '2 Days & 1 Night' members, who have gone from remote mountain areas to being stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the open sea, will air on '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' at 6:10 p.m. on the 21st.
