[Sportschosun reporter Baek Ji-eun] BLACKPINK's Lisa has been caught up in yet another dating rumor.
On the 23rd local time, the U.S. fashion magazine Vanity Fair unveiled the summer cover story, "The Life of a K-Pop Showgirl."
In the feature on Lisa's life, Vanity Fair said, "Lisa and Frédéric Arnault appear to have broken up." It added that before the interview, Lisa's team asked that questions about her private life or dating be kept to a minimum, and that Lisa herself avoided any direct mention of romance throughout the interview.
Lisa was first swept up in dating rumors with Frédéric Arnault, the fourth son of Bernard Arnault, the chairman of LVMH and the world's second-richest person at the time, and the CEO of TAG Heuer, in July 2023. Although neither side made an official statement, the rumors were treated as all but confirmed after the two were repeatedly spotted openly dating in Paris, Italy, and the United States. Reports that Lisa had joined Arnault on a family trip even fueled marriage rumors.
Signs of trouble in the relationship later emerged. Arnault was not seen at Lisa's 29th birthday party in Bali this March. Instead, photos of her posing affectionately with Thai star Blue Pongtiwat, who is three years younger than her, sparked breakup rumors.
In May, Lisa was also seen getting close to Palestinian model, sculptor, interior designer, and influencer Fai Khadra at the after-party for the 2026 Met Gala, raising fresh speculation about a rebound romance. Khadra is known as a close male friend of Kendall Jenner and is a key figure in fashion circles, with deep ties to Hollywood stars such as Kylie Jenner and the Hadid sisters.
Lisa has never issued an official statement on the repeated dating and breakup rumors over the years, but she has not exactly avoided the subject either. This time, however, her unusual request to avoid questions about her private life is adding weight to speculation that she has split from Arnault.
