[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Comedian Jung Hyung-don has bought a used car for his family for the first time in 10 years.
A recent video on Jung Hyung-don's YouTube channel was titled, "Jung Hyung-don, all kinds of things happen while buying a car lol... Why did all the items in my cart disappear?"
Jung Hyung-don, who had previously advertised a used-car platform last year, said, "While doing that ad, I felt, 'This is really good,' because there were systems and services I liked, so I decided to use the service myself and actually buy a car."
Jung Hyung-don had added a seven-seater he wanted to try to his cart in advance, but he was taken aback when every car sold out within two days. He lamented, "I had bookmarked about five cars two days ago, and this is no joke. How can every car be gone? It's absurd," and went back to searching for used-car listings.
After paying for the car with ease, Jung Hyung-don finally met it a few days later. Excited about the car he had bought for the first time in 10 years, he said, "I've been living this celebrity life, though it's been a bit of a downturn, and this is honestly my first time buying a used car. I'm buying one through an app without even seeing it in person." He marveled at the car, which had no visible scratches. After a thorough inspection, he said, "Its condition is even better than what I saw on the app," and added, "When I said I was buying a used car, I was a little uneasy. There was also this nagging feeling. But right now, I feel the same excitement as when buying a new car."
In the video description, Jung Hyung-don said, "I ended up buying my own car for the first time in 10 years. Before this, I drove a Kia Morning. Anyway, it's quite moving," and added, "Now that the kids are older, I wanted to buy a good used car that the whole family can ride together in, so I'll try to pick out a great one."
Meanwhile, Jung Hyung-don married former broadcast writer Han Yu-ra in 2009, and the couple has twin daughters. For years, the family lived apart, with Jung Hyung-don staying in Hawaii for the girls' education. Recently, Han Yu-ra and the daughters returned home permanently, bringing that long period of living apart to an end.
