[Sportschosun Kim So-hee Reporter] Comedian Yang Se-hyung expressed special pride after announcing that he had passed Level 1 of the Korean History Proficiency Test.

The episode of MBC's "Where Is My Home" that aired on the 25th featured Kim Sook, Yang Se-hyung, Jang Dong-min, Yang Se-chan, Joo Woo-jae, and Kim Dae-ho.

When asked about his recent activities, Yang Se-hyung said, "I don't have any particular issues right now. I've just been studying," and revealed that he was preparing for the Korean History Proficiency Test.

He said, "I've been preparing for two months, but the test is only a few days away, so I'm still studying." His younger brother, Yang Se-chan, who heard this, testified, "He's more sensitive than a high school senior."

Yang Se-hyung explained why he decided to take the test, saying, "There are some things I don't know, but I felt that I should know Korean history."

He also showed confidence, saying, "If I feel this way today, I think I can get Level 2." Kim Dae-ho then asked him an impromptu quiz question: "Which battle was the one where Admiral Yi Sun-sin was killed?" Yang Se-hyung answered without hesitation, "The Battle of Noryang. It starts with the Battle of Hansando and ends with the Battle of Noryang," showing off his knowledge of history.

Then the result was finally revealed. Yang Se-hyung smiled brightly and said, "I got 91 points, so it's Level 1." It was a score that far exceeded his original goal of Level 2.

Unable to hide his joy, he joked, "You have more historical knowledge in your head than you think," and added, "Now I can brag about history. Don't I know it?"

He then drew laughter in the studio by joking confidently, "From now on, you have to treat me like a king."

Previously, on the December 25 broadcast of "Where Is My Home" last year, Yang Se-hyung revealed that his father graduated from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Seoul National University. At the time, he said, "He graduated from the College of Agriculture," and added, "My father was best at math. In high school, he could just glance at a book and solve everything." He continued, "My father is the type who tells us to do whatever we want. Our family was well-off, so we had tutoring and everything. My younger brother and I were told to do what we wanted, so we lived like 'Mowgli.'"
