Choi Hyun-wook and Park Ji-hoon’s off-screen friendship from 'Weak Hero': "We met recently and talked until sunrise"

[Sportschosun, Reporter Kim So-hee] Actor Choi Hyun-wook showed off his lasting friendship with Park Ji-hoon, his co-star from 'Weak Hero.'

On the 25th, the YouTube channel 'Netflix South Korea' released a video titled "So you're Hyun-wook? The Pretty One at the Very End | We really came to promote Man at the End of the Row." In the video, Choi Hyun-wook, the lead actor of the Netflix series 'Man at the End of the Row,' appeared and shared behind-the-scenes stories and recent updates.

That day, Choi Hyun-wook mentioned one of his signature works, 'Weak Hero,' and expressed special affection for it. "'Weak Hero' was a truly special project," he said. "It was a work that challenged me greatly as an actor, and one where I did my best to push beyond my limits."

Yoo Byung-jae then brought up the character An Soo-ho, played by Choi Hyun-wook, and made everyone laugh by saying, "He's not bad, but he's also good at fighting, cool, and cute. He's the kind of kid everyone likes." He added, "At the guest visit, the director said Yeon Sieun (Park Ji-hoon) and An Soo-ho were in love."

Choi Hyun-wook agreed, saying, "That's right. I think the director directed their relationship based on that kind of imagination."

Yoo Byung-jae then asked, "Are you actually close with Park Ji-hoon?" Choi Hyun-wook replied, "We are close. But he's so busy that we don't get to see each other often."

He continued, "We met recently too. We talked until the sun came up," adding, "It wasn't anything grand. We just talked about this and that and caught up on each other's lives."

In particular, he said, "We also talked about the movie that did well this time, 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' what we've been doing lately, and what projects we're joining," and described it as "feeling like meeting an old classmate after a long time."

Yoo Byung-jae then said, "It really feels like Sieun and Soo-ho are meeting again," and Choi Hyun-wook smiled and agreed, delighting fans.

Meanwhile, 'Man at the End of the Row' will be released on Netflix on the 26th.
