[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Rapper Swings shared a story about getting angry at the production team of 'Nolto.'
On the 25th, a video titled "A Day in the Life of an Entertainment Rapper One-Two Punch" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Egenam Swings.
Hanhae recalled the time Swings stopped filming when he appeared on Amazing Saturday. He said, "It was a hip-hop special, and Crush and I were going out when Lee Chan-hyuk's song 'Suddenly, Hip-Hop Is Not Cool' was at the height of its popularity. Since it was a hip-hop special, they played that song as we came out. That's when hyung started to get upset. He was supposed to greet everyone, but he didn't say a word. He stayed angry throughout the entire taping." Hanhae added, "For the first time on 'Nolto,' he said, 'Can I say just one thing before we go? I think I need to say this before I leave. I was really upset that the opening mentioned that hip-hop is not cool.' The production team was shocked because they had not intended anything by it, so they could not believe he was upset for that reason."
Hanhae said, "It did not air, and when the production team said, 'We did not realize that right away. We will cut it from the opening,' he said, 'Really? Then I will do my best too,' and went back to being the Swings we knew. I thought that was truly professional."
Swings explained, "From the broadcaster's point of view, the two of them would naturally understand, but from a guest's point of view, if there were a song like 'Ballads Are Lame,' it would not be right to play it when Park Hyo-shin appears. Boom also handled it well and asked, 'What song would have been better to play?' Crush had come to promote a new song, so I said, 'Then just play Crush's song,' and everyone moved on smoothly."
He continued, "What I realized was that everyone there was a terrestrial variety entertainer and a superstar. You could really feel how professional they were. I said, 'If you say it like that, it upsets me,' and at first they were surprised for just a second, then they immediately laughed."
Hanhae said, "At that time, in the eight years of 'Nolto,' it was the first time a guest had stopped the taping. So it left a strong impression, and I realized hyung really says what he has to say." DinDin added, "I understand hyung. Since he is a hip-hop artist, if he had just played it off as a joke here, he would have been mocked from his own perspective."
