[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] The food expedition led by Lee Young-ja, the 'ingredient manager' on MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interfere,' will unleash an all-time mukbang relay that is sure to make viewers' mouths water.
In episode 404 of the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) variety show 'Point of Omniscient Interfere,' which airs today (the 27th), Lee Young-ja, Jun Hyun-moo, and Yang Se-hyung set out on a West Coast ingredient trip.
For lunch, the team arrives at a culinary mecca that began in 1941, the 'Yesan beef rib restaurant,' where even the President of the United States is said to line up for a meal. When word spread that Lee Young-ja had already secured the limited-quantity raw ribs, which can only be enjoyed with a reservation, food lover Yang Se-hyung reportedly cheered out loud. As soon as the prized raw ribs finally appear, Lee Young-ja even gets into a physical tussle with Jun Hyun-moo and Yang Se-hyung in a battle to secure the meat, drawing laughter. But the joy of the meal is short-lived, as a rock-paper-scissors showdown is set up to determine who will pay the hefty rib bill alone, raising the tension on set.
The finale of the ingredient expedition is green onion kimchi. After visiting a green onion farm run by a young farmer, the team immediately begins making green onion kimchi on site. Lee Young-ja's special seasoning recipe, different from her green onion kimchi, will also be revealed generously. Once the kimchi-making starts, Jun Hyun-moo and Yang Se-hyung, who brought kimchi containers in both hands, volunteer to help in order to receive some of the green onion kimchi. However, they reportedly could not hide their surprise as the amount of kimchi disappeared faster than expected. Jun Hyun-moo, who came all this way for the green onion kimchi alone, leaves viewers wondering whether he will be able to fill his containers to the brim.
Adding to the feast, Samgyeopsal and beef intestines sizzle on a natural stone grill, creating a picture-perfect dinner spread. The savory grilled meat and Lee Young-ja's spicy green onion kimchi make a fantastic pairing. In particular, Jun Hyun-moo is expected to show off a ravenous appetite worthy of his nickname, 'pa-chin-nom,' and fully stimulate viewers' appetites at home.
Lee Young-ja's special green onion kimchi recipe, which once again captivated Jun Hyun-moo, can be seen today (the 27th) at 11:10 p.m. on MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interfere.'
