Jeong Si-ah Considers YouTube Success, Says She Is “Saving” Her Father-in-Law Baek Yoon-sik for a Future Appearance

[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Actress Jeong Si-ah reflected on how to make her YouTube channel a success.

On the 26th, a video titled “The Life of Working Mom Jeong Si-ah? A Sneak Peek at 24 Hours (+Program Filming, +Family Game Match)” was uploaded to Jeong Si-ah’s YouTube channel.

Jeong Si-ah, who left home before dawn for an early morning shoot, said, "I do not eat much when I am filming. If I eat, I feel sluggish, so I skip meals during shoots and just have a cup of coffee at home in the morning before leaving."

She added, "During filming, I drink warm chamomile tea, and for breakfast I have two boiled eggs. I eat them in the car, and I only take multivitamins when I am filming. I need to save up my energy for when I have to perform. And since I skip lunch, I drink beef bone concentrate. My husband picked it out when he bought it." She said she gets through lunch with beef chips.

She also said her snacks were chosen by her husband, Baek Do-bin. Jeong Si-ah explained, "My husband really checks the ingredients carefully when he buys food. Sugar can spike quickly. It raises blood sugar gradually, so it is good to eat when your sugar drops."

Explaining why she manages her diet, Jeong Si-ah said, "In my 20s and 30s, I could eat and lose weight with just a little movement, but now that I am in my 40s, whatever I eat seems to stick somewhere on my body. I have to manage my diet more carefully." She continued, "So I have coffee and eggs, hold out until 2 or 3 p.m., and only need energy when I am filming, so I eat beef chips and coconut chips. It feels like I only have one proper meal a day."

At the filming site, Jeong Si-ah met Kim Gu-ra and shared her concerns about YouTube. She said, "How am I supposed to do YouTube? It is so hard," and Kim Gu-ra replied, "I set a theme and work around that." He then asked, "Will your father-in-law appear on the channel?" Jeong Si-ah answered, "Not yet. I am saving him for later." Kim Gu-ra agreed, saying, "Family members have to cooperate," and Jeong Si-ah also admitted, "That is not easy."
