[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok] Singer Kang Daniel, who is currently serving in the military, drew an enthusiastic response from fans after revealing a noticeably more muscular physique.
On the 27th, Kang Daniel posted a photo on his social media without any explanation.
The photo showed Kang Daniel taking a mirror selfie at a gym after finishing his workout.
Although he was dressed casually with a cap pulled low, his broader shoulders, thicker arms, and firm upper body immediately caught attention.
He appeared to have kept up his workouts steadily since enlisting, showing a bigger frame and a more masculine presence than before, which impressed fans.
Fans who saw the photo reacted enthusiastically, saying, "The military made him even cooler," "His shoulders are really broader now," "He successfully bulked up," and "I’m even more excited for his discharge."
Kang Daniel enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the Army on Feb. 9. After completing basic training, he is currently serving as a squad leader and instructor in the 11th Company, 3rd Training Battalion, 25th Regiment at KATC.
In April, he also appeared in an official KATC YouTube video and introduced himself by saying, "I am Squad Leader Kang Daniel of the 11th Company, 3rd Training Battalion, 25th Regiment," drawing attention for his disciplined military life.
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel made his debut as the center of the project group Wanna One through the 2017 Mnet audition program Produce 101 Season 2.
After the group disbanded, he continued to work actively as a solo singer and is now faithfully carrying out his military duty.
