[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok] Dowoon, a member of DAY6 who was recently caught up in marriage rumors, has sparked speculation that he may be leaving the show after failing to appear in the Rainbow members' group retreat on I Live Alone.
At the end of the MBC variety show I Live Alone, which aired on the 26th, a preview was released for the Rainbow members' first summer retreat together.
During the episode, Jeon Hyun-moo handed out a notice to the members and announced that the retreat would be held.
He said, "We will be staying at a youth hostel," and told everyone to bring random bibimbap ingredients. The members showed both concern and excitement over what ingredients they might get.
In the preview video that followed, Koo Sung-hwan appeared driving a large van, and the retreat scenes showed Jeon Hyun-moo, Kian84, Code Kunst, Kim Dae-ho, Park Ji-hyun, SHINee's Choi Min-ho, Red Velvet's Joy, Seo Beom-jun, Lee Sun-min, and others enjoying the trip together.
Kim Shin-young, who had worried about a live radio broadcast, also appeared in the talent show segment, suggesting that she had joined the event.
However, Dowoon, who had recently been active as a Rainbow member, could not be found anywhere in the preview.
Some viewers responded by asking whether he had already left the show and why only Dowoon was missing, which led to speculation that he may have stepped down.
Dowoon drew attention in May after being swept up in marriage rumors involving well-known creator Yoo Ji-yu.
At the time, his agency JYP Entertainment gave only a brief response, saying, "We have no position." Dowoon later addressed the issue directly on social media, writing, "Our team will never disappear, even if I die. I am not going anywhere, and please do not look at the bad posts. For now, if you see posts about me, just ignore them. I am sorry for hurting you. Please wait a little longer."
No clear explanation has been given regarding the marriage rumors. With Dowoon also absent from the group retreat preview for I Live Alone, viewers continue to pay close attention to whether he will appear on the show in the future.
