[Sportschosun Jo Yoon-sun] Actress Ahn Moon-sook candidly explained why she has consistently turned down requests to reveal her home.
On the 27th, a video titled "While Ahn Moon-sook is traveling in Australia, she opens up about her hidden feelings" was released on the YouTube channel 'Miss What About Ahn Moon-sook.'
In the video, Ahn Moon-sook said, "Because I have lived alone for a long time, many people are curious about my home. I was also asked to open up my house on a variety show, and on 'Miu Sae' they wanted me as a fixed cast member, but they said I would have to show my home, so I turned it down."
She continued, "There is nothing particularly different just because someone is a celebrity. Life is the same. People may wonder, 'So this is how Ahn Moon-sook lives.' But I do not really like making things public." She added, "I just do not feel like revealing my refrigerator or bedroom. So I have never opened up my home even once."
Ahn Moon-sook also recalled a time when she did reveal her home in the past. She said, "A long time ago, when my mother was still very young, MBC aired a program called 'An Moon-sook Marriage Project.' Back then, I had no choice but to open my home, and the aftereffects were extremely severe."
She added, "These days, people say revealing celebrities' homes is the trend, but I want to step away from that trend. I do not want to open it up."
Ahn Moon-sook also said she turned down an offer to appear on a variety show with her pet dog. She explained, "Even when they asked me to do it, I did not. I thought filming that would stress out Bok-sil, my dog." She added, "I did not even train Bok-sil because I was worried she would get stressed. I am lazy too, but I did not want to teach her to live too comfortably."
She went on to say, "I am actually very conservative, more than people might think. I may seem open-minded, but if you look closely, I am quite conservative." She added, "People who have lived alone for a long time have their own world, and they do not really want someone else coming into it. That is why I do not interfere with other people, and I do not meddle either. Everyone has different routines and ways of living, right?"
