[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok] BTS member Jungkook won the hearts of fans around the world with a thoughtful gesture during a live broadcast, showing consideration for a vegan fan.
After finishing a concert in Spain on the 28th, Jungkook held a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse for about four hours and spent time interacting with fans.
In a relaxed atmosphere, he sang requested songs on the spot and shared various stories with fans, including recommending YouTube content he enjoys watching.
During the broadcast, Jungkook was eating a sausage when a fan said they were vegan, and he immediately showed consideration.
Jungkook said, "Oh, you're vegan? I'm not vegan. I understand. Please understand me too. I'm not vegan. Sorry."
He added, "But there are people who are vegan. Then I won't eat in front of you. I'll eat where you can't see it," showing respect for the fan.
It was not just words. As he continued the live broadcast, Jungkook leaned out of frame or turned his face away whenever he ate, making sure the food could not be seen on camera. It was a small gesture, but fans around the world praised him for his sincerity and consideration.
Fans praised him, saying things like, "He is truly exceptionally considerate," "How could you not like someone like that?" "It is moving to see him respect fans until the very end," "It may seem like a small thing, but that kind of attention to detail is so Jungkook," and "He respected both vegan fans and non-vegan fans."
Jungkook has long kept in steady contact with fans through Weverse Live, showing his sincere side. In this broadcast as well, he spoke honestly about his thoughts and listened carefully even to the opinion of a single fan, once again winning the hearts of global ARMY.
