Jeju Air said on the 10th that it will operate a ZEROBASEONE-liveried aircraft in collaboration with K-pop artist ZEROBASEONE (ZB1).
According to Jeju Air, the aircraft will begin service on the Incheon-Tokyo Narita route on June 9 and will be deployed for about five months through the end of November on international routes to Japan, Greater China and Southeast Asia, among others, where the airline operates.
Aircraft fuselage liveries are considered one of Jeju Air's key marketing activities. By using an aircraft, the airline can offer customers a unique experience and draw more attention through the rarity of the concept, and it has actively pursued marketing campaigns through various IP collaborations. It has previously unveiled liveried aircraft featuring TVXQ, Song Joong-ki, Lee Min-ho, Jimin of BTS, and artists from Antenna, including Cho Kyuhyun, Mijoo and Jung Jae-hyung.
A Jeju Air official said, "Through the ZEROBASEONE-liveried aircraft, we plan to offer domestic and international customers a distinctive brand experience and the joy of travel." The official added, "We will continue expanding Jeju Air's differentiated marketing activities through a variety of IP collaborations."
