VIPS, operated by CJ Foodville, launched its new summer menu, "Catch the Summer Taste," on the 15th in collaboration with Chef Park Eun-young. By adding the chef's original recipes and sensibility to VIPS signature dishes, the company is presenting a special summer dining experience available only at VIPS.
First, the lineup includes distinctive dishes infused with the unique touch of Amy Park, the chef's alter ego. They include "Amy Park's Char Siu-Glazed Barbecue Ribs," which glaze VIPS signature ribs with the chef's special char siu sauce and add a refreshing note with green tangerine chimichurri sauce, and "Amy Park's Banana Cream Fried Shrimp," which pairs crispy fried shrimp with the chef's signature banana cream sauce for a rich and sweet flavor. The menu also features "Amy Park's Black Bean Monkfish," with crispy fried monkfish and black bean sauce, as well as "Amy Park's Mustard Chicken Salad," made with summer vegetables and a distinctive mustard sauce.
VIPS is also offering a rich lineup of new dishes that capture the feel of summer. The menu includes "Crushed Cucumber Salad," which stands out for its cool and crisp texture, "Peach Ricotta Salad," highlighted by sweet nectarines, and "Shanghai Clam Pasta," which adds the deep umami of clams and a spicy kick to stimulate the appetite in the summer.
Meanwhile, VIPS held the "VIPS x Chef Park Eun-young Summer Gala Dinner" event on the 12th. During the event, the company introduced the story behind the menu development with Chef Park and offered guests a chance to taste the collaboration dishes before their official launch. The invitation event, held for VIPS VIP customers and CatchTable users, drew a large number of applicants.
A CJ Foodville official said, "This summer season, through a special collaboration with Chef Park Eun-young, we have created a vivid summer flavor that can be experienced only at VIPS." The official added, "As the gala dinner event showed strong anticipation and positive response, we expect to deliver satisfaction to customers this summer."
