The program was designed to train practical specialists who can use AI effectively in medical settings. Starting with this introductory course, it will run through October in five stages: understanding medical AI, using medical AI, hands-on practice and projects.

The first session, held that day, focused on the basics of medical AI and covered an introduction to medical AI, medical data and ethics, AI agents, smart hospital cases, global medical AI trends and identifying problems in clinical settings.

Participants learned the basic concepts and latest trends in medical AI, while also examining how it could be applied in actual clinical care and hospital operations.

Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital plans to continue offering step-by-step training and hands-on practice to improve healthcare workers' AI capabilities.
