Fire Fighters will play their ninth live in-person game of the 2026 season against Whimoon High School at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 28th.
This time, Fire Fighters will take on Whimoon High School, a traditional powerhouse that has written countless chapters in high school baseball history since its founding in 1907. Whimoon High School recorded the first no-hitter in Korean baseball history and the first perfect game in high school baseball history. It is also regarded as one of the top high school teams, having produced 120 professional players, including major leaguer Lee Jung-hoo, as well as Lim Chan-kyu and Park Min-woo.
Whimoon High School also boasts an impressive record, including runner-up finishes in the first half of the 2026 High School Baseball Weekend League Seoul Division B, the second half of the 2025 High School Baseball Weekend League Seoul Division C, and the 59th Presidential Cup National High School Baseball Tournament in 2025.
