[Sportschosun Jo Ji-young] Actor Gong Myung expressed boundless affection for Jin Seon-kyu.
A production briefing for the Netflix film "Husbands in Action" (directed by Park Gyu-tae, produced by TPS Company) was held on the morning of the 15th at The Ambassador Seoul - A Pullman Hotel in Jung District, Seoul. Attending the event were Jin Seon-kyu, who plays Chungsik, the ace of the narcotics unit and Sine's ex-husband; Gong Myung, who plays Minsuk, a young and handsome veterinarian and Sine's current husband; Kim Ji-seok, who plays Dojun, the leader of a new drug syndicate; Yoon Kyung-ho, who plays Yonggang, another gang boss trying to reclaim his territory from Dojun; Kang Han-na, who plays Sine, who is kidnapped by the drug ring; Lee Da-hee, who plays Hyeran, who stages the abduction to win back her husband Dojun; Jeon So-min, who plays Ara, a social affairs reporter trailing Chungsik in search of a scoop; and director Park Gyu-tae.
Jin Seon-kyu said with a laugh, "Myung had grown a lot in the meantime. Both time and chemistry had deepened our trust. Even when I acted differently each time, Myung responded so well, and I think that helped the film flow organically." Gong Myung also shared his affection, saying, "Every time I went to the set of 'Husbands in Action,' I always felt happy. The time I spent with Seon-kyu hyung gave me a feeling that is hard to put into words. I was so happy that every second felt too precious to waste."
"Husbands in Action" is a comic action film about an unpredictable operation carried out by an ex-husband and a current husband who join forces by chance to rescue a wife kidnapped by a criminal organization. The film stars Jin Seon-kyu, Gong Myung, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Kyung-ho, Kang Han-na, Lee Da-hee, and Jeon So-min, and is directed by Park Gyu-tae of "6/45." It will be released on Netflix on the 19th.
