Kang Dong-won, who plays Hyun-woo, the dance machine, handles advanced b-boying and comedy at the same time. Even during the grueling shoot with the b-boy crew, he never lost his smile and also added warmth by looking after the child actors with care. Uhm Tae-goo, who plays the explosive rapper Sang-gu, and Park Ji-hyun, who plays the irresistible Do-mi, showed a friendly chemistry that instantly lifts the mood. Their chemistry supported TRIANGLE's perfect teamwork, like real siblings.
Yang Hyun-min, who plays Detective Kang and heightens the tension and humor by pressuring TRIANGLE and Choi Seong-gon (Oh Jung-se), showed an unexpected bromance with Uhm Tae-goo in a sweet off-camera two-shot. Park Ji-hyun, who radiated charisma in the film with the line "I get slapped," also drew attention by revealing her natural, lovable charm, which stands in sharp contrast to the rough Do-mi character.
Oh Jung-se, who played Choi Seong-gon and served as the film's main source of laughs, also showed his professionalism by discussing ideas with director Sohn Jae-gon more seriously than anyone else, hinting at his exceptional passion. Finally, Shin Ha-kyun, who appears as Park Dae-pyo and sparks conflict by reappearing after 20 years before the TRIANGLE trio, was seen monitoring the footage together with the others. The scene conveyed a strong sense of teamwork that belied their on-screen rivalry.
Meanwhile, 'Wild Sing' is a comedy about TRIANGLE, a three-member mixed-gender dance group that once swept the music scene but was suddenly disbanded after an unexpected incident. Twenty years later, they take on a reckless challenge in hopes of seizing a chance for a comeback. The film stars Kang Dong-won, Uhm Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se, and is directed by Sohn Jae-gon, known for 'My Scary Girl' and 'Secret Zoo.' It is now showing in theaters nationwide.
