[Sportschosun Jo Ji-young] The comedy film "Wild Sing" (directed by Sohn Jae-gon and produced by About Film), which has been riding a wave of popularity thanks to Oh Jung-se's "Choi Seong-gon syndrome," has released behind-the-scenes stills capturing the cheerful atmosphere on set.
Kang Dong-won, who plays Hyun-woo, the dance machine, showed off both advanced b-boying and comic acting. Even during grueling shoots with the b-boy crew, he never lost his smile and also added warmth by taking good care of the child actors. Uhm Tae-goo, who plays the stormy rapper Sang-gu, and Park Ji-hyun, who plays the irresistibly charming Byun Do-mi, displayed a friendly chemistry that instantly lifts the mood, supporting TRIANGLE's perfect teamwork with a sibling-like rapport.
Yang Hyun-min, who played Kang Gyeong-sa and heightened the tension and humor by pressuring TRIANGLE and Choi Seong-gon (Oh Jung-se), shows an adorable off-camera two-shot with Uhm Tae-goo, hinting at an unexpected bromance. Meanwhile, Park Ji-hyun, who radiated charisma in the film with the line "I get slapped on the cheek," draws attention by revealing her natural, lovely charm that stands in sharp contrast to the rough Byun Do-mi character.
Oh Jung-se, who played Choi Seong-gon and served as the film's biggest source of laughs, also revealed his professional side by discussing ideas with director Sohn Jae-gon more seriously than anyone else, underscoring his exceptional passion. Finally, Shin Ha-kyun, who appears as Park Dae-pyo and sparks conflict by reappearing before the TRIANGLE members for the first time in 20 years, is seen monitoring footage together with the trio. Their close teamwork comes through clearly, despite the tense relationship in the film.
"Wild Sing" follows TRIANGLE, a mixed-gender dance group that once swept the music scene but disbanded after an unexpected incident, as they get a chance to make a comeback and head back to the stage more than 20 years later. The film stars Kang Dong-won, Uhm Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se, and is directed by Sohn Jae-gon, known for "My Scary Girl" and "Secret Zoo."
