[Sportschosun Jiyoung Jo] The comedy film "Wild Thing" (directed by Sohn Jae-gon, produced by About Film) will hold a GV with the directors who helped build the Oh Jung-se universe.
"Wild Thing" has confirmed the third installment of its "Laughter Chart in GV" series. In the first GV, Ahn Jae-hong, who worked with Sohn Jae-gon on "Secret Zoo," joined the event. In the second, Oh Jung-se appeared with Sim Eun-kyung and director Hwang Dong-hyuk from "Miss Granny," drawing attention. Now, the film is teasing an even more diverse lineup.
On the 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at Lotte Cinema World Tower, directors who represent the Korean comedy film scene will gather with Oh Jung-se, drawing strong attention.
At the event, director Lee Byeong-heon of "Extreme Job" will serve as moderator. Sohn Jae-gon, Oh Jung-se, and director Lee Won-seok of "Man's Manual" will also attend and share a wide range of stories about the film. In particular, Lee Won-seok personally directed the music video for the buzzworthy song "I Like You," which is featured in "Wild Thing" and has sparked a challenge craze. He is expected to share everything from why he joined the project to behind-the-scenes stories from production.
Above all, this GV is meaningful because it brings together the directors who created Oh Jung-se's legendary characters: Lee Seung-jae from "Man's Manual," Ted Chang from "Extreme Job," and Choi Seong-gon from "Wild Thing." The three directors, who form the triangle of Korea's comedy film directors and completed the Oh Jung-se universe, will join forces with Oh Jung-se to deliver a lively session full of candid talk that cannot be heard anywhere else.
"Wild Thing" follows Triangle, a mixed-gender dance group that once swept the music scene but disbanded after an unexpected incident, as it gets a chance to make a comeback and heads back to the stage more than 20 years later. The film stars Kang Dong-won, Uhm Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se, and was directed by Sohn Jae-gon, who also helmed "My Scary Girl" and "Secret Zoo."
