Jung Sung-kwan, chairman of the Woori Children's Medical Foundation's Woori Children's Hospital, a hospital specializing in children and adolescents, published the first essay book 'The Story of a Pediatrician's World'.
Chairman Chung Sung-kwan captured his philosophy and experience in medical group activities as a pediatrician and medical institution manager.
The essay contains his thoughts on media contributions, hospital management, treatment of children and caregivers, and Chung Sung-kwan's honest views on Korea's medical policy and pediatric and adolescent medical policy.
In particular, it contains his deep insight into the issues he has encountered while serving as executives of various medical organizations, including the chairman of the Guro-gu Medical Association, the chairman of the Korea Specialized Hospital Association, and the vice chairman of the Korea Pediatric Youth Hospital Association.
The book begins with the story '37.5℃ tears'. It is a story about the low birth rate problem, and it calmly unravels the sense of duty that Chairman Chung Sung-kwan feels as a pediatrician. In it, the deep affection and sincerity for the child are felt, giving a subtle impression.
In addition, the book delicately deals with the parents' attitude toward their children and changes in K-parenting, and once again expresses deep parental love following the bestseller 『Wise Parenting Prescription』.
In addition, 'Dreaming of Another Woo Young-woo', 'The Path of Essential Medical Care', 'The Importance of Eating', 'The Direction of Telemedicine', 'Am I a young doctor?', It covers a variety of topics such as 'Who would do it if I didn't?', 'The influence of the name of the hospital', and 'Dan Sang' on the medical fever' and provides a glimpse of Chairman Chung Sung-kwan's in-depth views on medical issues.
Chairman Chung Sung-kwan said, "'Doctors live with many people as members of society as well.'"
