Sung Si-kyung Says, "Even If They Say I Have No Style, I Won't Change Stylists"... He Kept His Loyalty, and a 'Change' Finally Happened

[Sportschosun reporter Jo Min-jeong] Sung Si-kyung's stylist expressed surprise at the singer's changed fashion sense.

On the 10th, Sung Si-kyung's stylist posted a long message on social networking service (SNS), along with several photos.

The released photos showed Sung Si-kyung visiting a raw fish restaurant in Geumho-dong, Seoul.

He was seen walking down an alley with a mobile phone in one hand, wearing a navy shirt and white pants. Another photo showed him sitting comfortably inside the restaurant in striped espadrilles.

The stylist said, "I was extremely tired after the concert after-party and filming for 'Sung Si-kyung's Would You Eat,' but I came out of my studio alone to the raw fish restaurant." He added, "On the way there, I thought, 'This is bad,' but I was shocked when he showed up having completed the outfit himself." In particular, the stylist said, "I had prepared a few outfits in the dressing room in advance, but he matched a navy shirt, white pants and summer espadrilles on his own." He continued, "I was surprised that he even came wearing the right shoes," and recalled Sung Si-kyung's reply when he said, "You even wore the right shoes today." Sung Si-kyung answered, "I felt like I had to wear these."

The stylist said, "Kkumil Tende was not meaningless," and added, "He now takes care of himself diligently and pays attention to what he wears. He still struggles with hair, but he has definitely changed."

The post is drawing even more attention after the controversy surrounding Sung Si-kyung's style transformation project, 'Kkumil Tende,' last year.

Earlier, some online users criticized his styling, saying, "Shouldn't he change stylists?" and "They can't dress him well." But on his recent YouTube channel, 'Sung Si-kyung's Would You Eat,' Sung Si-kyung strongly defended his stylist, saying, "If I had to change staff to become stylish, then I wouldn't become stylish." He also dismissed rumors of a replacement, saying, "It's the same stylist now as it was then," and showed his loyalty by adding, "He is not that incompetent."

Meanwhile, Sung Si-kyung recently drew attention by releasing a pictorial after losing 10 kilograms. He has also emphasized the importance of steady self-care, saying, "In the end, what matters more than clothes is the model's condition."
