[Sportschosun Kim So-hee] Broadcaster Lee Young-ja showed off her witty banter as she revealed a special connection with actor Ahn Jae-wook.
On the 15th episode of tvN STORY's "What to Leave Behind," a celebratory spread was prepared in Jeju Province to mark the show's first anniversary.
That day, Ahn Jae-wook, Lee Young-ja's college junior and an actor, appeared as the guest of honor and drew attention. Reuniting after a long time, the two naturally brought back memories of their past connection.
Lee Young-ja spoke about her connection with Ahn Jae-wook and said, "I am the only woman who went on a trip to Southeast Asia and came back. But no scandal ever broke out." Her pointed remark drew laughter.
Ahn Jae-wook then smiled and explained, "In 1997, Young-ja, me, Jin-sil, and Shin Dong-yup went together. It wasn't for a program; we went on our own."
Lee Young-ja smiled as she recalled the moment, saying, "I was so happy." She then joked, "Are you still embarrassed about going out with your sister about 30 years ago?" Hearing that, Ahn Jae-wook shot back, "I can't breathe," sending the set into laughter.
Meanwhile, Choi Jin-sil died in 2008 at the age of 39.
