[Sportschosun reporter Jo Min-jeong] Voice actress and broadcaster Seo Yu-ri has shared an update on her latest activities by recruiting students for one-on-one lessons.
On the 16th, Seo Yu-ri posted a recruitment notice for one-on-one lessons on her social networking service (SNS), saying, "I have spent the past 17 years working only at the best venues as a working voice actress and broadcaster."
She described the class as one that focuses on building a voice foundation that can be used for a long time, rather than relying on shortcuts. She added, "I teach what actually works in the field, not textbook answers." She also explained that the lessons are open not only to aspiring voice actors, but also to broadcasters, aspiring announcers, YouTubers, content creators, streamers, and office workers preparing for interviews and presentations. In particular, she said the program combines online and offline classes to provide customized lessons.
The post drew a strong response soon after it was published. Seo Yu-ri later added another post, saying, "I received far more DMs than expected," and asked people to inquire quickly because there are only a limited number of spots.
Internet users reacted with comments such as, "Voice acting lessons are unexpected," "I'm curious about Seo Yu-ri's voice techniques," "It would probably be competitive if a working voice actress taught directly," and "No wonder the DMs are flooding in."
Meanwhile, Seo Yu-ri began her career as a voice actress in 2006 and gained recognition through a wide range of works, including Fullmetal Alchemist and League of Legends. She currently communicates with the public while working as a voice actress, broadcaster, and internet streamer.
