Moon Chae-won Reveals Her Imported Car Worth Around 80 Million Won: "I Definitely Wanted a Small Car... I'm Not Confident Behind the Wheel"

[Sportschosun Reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Actress Moon Chae-won has revealed the car she usually drives for the first time.

On the 18th, a video titled "We invite you to a strange drive that has never appeared on YouTube before (ft. naengmyeon and bingsu hot spots)" was uploaded to Moon Chae-won's YouTube channel.

That day, Moon Chae-won showed the vehicle she actually drives. It is known to be a Mercedes-Benz model that sold for between 77 million won and 80 million won based on the 2020 new-car price.

Moon Chae-won explained, "I can't say the car is 100% my taste. I was determined to buy a small car, so it's a two-door." She added, "I'm not confident in driving, and I'm not very good at it. I also hadn't driven for years, so it's been about six years since I started driving again." She continued, "I go to my parents' home and drive often, so I've gotten better than before."

She also showed the inside of the car. Moon Chae-won said, "I bought it as it came. I remember not choosing any options." She also said she usually keeps a mat in the trunk. "When I go to the Han River, it's expensive to buy a mat at a convenience store every time, so I always keep one with me," she noted.

She then drew laughter by confessing, "There were actually two lumbar supports in the car, but I thought it might look better without them, so I quickly asked my manager to hide them."

That day, Moon Chae-won bowed and apologized for why she and the production team had to travel in separate cars, saying, "It's because I'm still not very good at driving."

She went on to say, "My driving has definitely improved. I can even drive with someone next to me, but I still have to look at the navigation and answer the producer/director's questions. I kept worrying about what if an accident happened, and the company worried far more than I did. I told them I was fine and that I could do it, but I think the company still doesn't fully trust me."
