[Sportschosun Ahn So-yoon] Antenna, the agency representing broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk, singer Lee Hyo-ri, Jung Jae-hyung and others, shared an update on its legal response against people who wrote and spread malicious posts.
Antenna said on its official account on the 19th, "We are taking regular legal action against those who write malicious posts, including false claims about our artists, personal attacks, and rights violations." It added, "Based on our own monitoring and reports from fans, we recently filed criminal complaints through our legal representatives. As a result, fines have been finalized for the defendants who repeatedly engaged in such conduct."
The agency also said, "Going forward, we will continue to take strong legal action under a zero-tolerance policy against any conduct that infringes on our artists' honor and other rights, without any settlement or leniency." It added, "We will do our utmost to protect our artists' rights so they can work in a healthy environment."
Earlier, Antenna had also indicated in December last year that it would take legal action over malicious posts and comments. At the time, it said, "Recently, we have confirmed numerous acts that go beyond freedom of expression and damage the dignity of our artists," adding, "We are collecting related posts and comments through legal consultation and our own monitoring, and we plan to take legal action against those who wrote malicious posts and comments that defame our artists."
Meanwhile, the entertainment agency founded by singer-songwriter Yoo Hee-yeol includes Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Hyo-ri, Lee Seo-jin, Yang Se-chan, Jung Jae-hyung, Lucid Fall, Cho Kyuhyun and Jung Seung-hwan.
