Sean, Married to Jung Hye-young, Takes After His Family... "His Eldest Daughter Ranked 2nd Overall Among Women in a Marathon"

[Sportschosun Reporter Kim Soo-hyun] Sean of the group Jinusean shared an update on a marathon he ran with his daughter, drawing warm reactions.

On the 19th, Sean shared his running record with his daughter, saying, "I ran the MIND MARATHON 10K as Ha-eum's pacer."

He said he had originally planned to finish at a 41- to 42-minute pace, but his daughter Ha-eum maintained a better pace than expected, which helped improve the result.

He added that she struggled a bit in the final 1-kilometer stretch, but finished the race and took 2nd place overall among women with a time of 40 minutes and 37 seconds.

Sean said, "The MIND MARATHON is a meaningful event where all entry fees are donated to 21 nonprofit organizations for the mental health of children and teenagers," and added, "Running together with Ha-eum made it even more meaningful."

He also left an encouraging message for his daughter, saying, "Ha-eum, let's keep running step by step with gratitude and take meaningful steps for someone else."

Inspired by Sean, who is often called an icon of running, his eldest daughter Ha-eum also joined him in the charity marathon, continuing their positive influence and adding to the heartwarming story.

Meanwhile, Sean married actress Jung Hye-young in 2004, and the couple has two sons and two daughters.

He is widely known as one of the entertainment industry's leading philanthropists and has consistently carried out donation activities through marathons.

In addition, on MBC's "Omniscient Interfering View," which aired in January, Sean and Jung Hye-young revealed how they dressed all four of their children and transformed into "Coal Briquette Santa" to take part in the "Raise Korea’s Temperature by 1 Degree" project.
