[Sportschosun Jo Min-jung] A post on an online community has drawn attention after the author, who identified themselves as a student, claimed, "I was in the same class as an actress's daughter."
Recently, a post describing the school life of a student believed to be the daughter of a well-known actress has spread online, attracting public interest.
The author claimed that early in the new school term, before they had become close, the student suddenly asked intrusive questions such as whether the writer's parents were public servants. The post also alleged that the student made inappropriate remarks to a classmate about the classmate's parents' jobs and car. According to the author, the student reportedly said something to the effect of, "Your father works at a shipyard, so how do you afford to keep a car with that salary?"
The post also included what the author said was a conversation between parents.
The author said the victim's side protested, but the other parent explained that the questions were simply driven by curiosity. The writer then claimed they never received a proper apology and expressed discomfort over what happened at the time. The author also wrote, "I was surprised because the real person was so different from the image shown on television," adding, "Even now, as graduation approaches, I still cannot forget what happened back then."
As the post spread, it triggered a range of reactions online. Some users pointed out that, if true, the remarks were inappropriate, while others responded cautiously, saying it was difficult to judge based on an anonymous post alone and that the other side's account should also be heard.
However, the identities of the actress and the student mentioned in the post have not been disclosed, and the authenticity of the claims has not been verified. As the allegations are circulating only online, some are also calling for the facts to be checked.
