[Sportschosun Reporter Jo Min-jung] Comedian Kim Won-hoon drew laughs by transforming into Choi Seong-gon, the character played by Oh Jung-se in the film "Wild Thing."
In the MBC variety show "Hangout with Yoo," which aired on the 20th, Yoo Jae-suk was shown preparing to produce season 2 of the short-form drama "I Decided to Take Back the Woman My Younger Brother Stole."
That day, Yoo said he had already booked an OST singer and set up a meeting with a special guest. The person who appeared moments later was none other than Kim Won-hoon.
But Kim was not in his usual look. Wearing a long scarf, he appeared after perfectly recreating the style of ballad singer Choi Seong-gon, the role Oh Jung-se played in "Wild Thing," surprising everyone.
Seeing him, Yoo Jae-suk said, "I really thought you were Mr. Choi Seong-gon," and added, "Why did you come dressed like that?" His baffled reaction brought laughter.
Kim Won-hoon then quipped, "I'm Obong-sik. I usually dress like this even in everyday life."
When questions poured in about the scarf around his neck, he explained, "My Adam's apple sticks out a lot, so I cover it up," sending the set into laughter.
Kim's fully committed costume was a parody of the "Choi Seong-gon craze," which has recently become a sensation.
Oh Jung-se gained attention for playing Choi Seong-gon, a mysterious ballad star, in "Wild Thing." The song "You Like Me," featured in the film, was even released as an actual track and has unexpectedly become a hit.
Meanwhile, "Wild Thing" is a comedy film about the members of the mixed-gender dance group Triangle, once a major force in the music scene, reuniting after 20 years and dreaming of a comeback. Since its release, the film has been gaining attention through word of mouth.
