[Sportschosun Kim So-hee] As cartoonist Heo Young-man has announced that he is suspending his activities for health reasons, the final episode of Season 1 of 'Baekban Travels,' which has followed a seven-year culinary journey, will bid farewell to viewers.

TV Chosun's final special broadcast of Season 1 of 'Heo Young Man's Food Travel,' titled 'The Baekban We Loved: Seven Delicious Years of Records,' will air today at 7:50 p.m.

The great culinary journey of 'Heo Young Man's Food Travel,' which began in May 2019, traveled across the country after visiting 1,329 restaurants and 2,131 tables. After all this time, how have those restaurants changed?

The program revisits the first restaurant featured in Jeonnam Gangjin, which opened the series in the spring of 2019 with a lavish 17-dish Namdo meal priced at 8,000 won. It also looks back at the 'perilla oil makguksu' that became a nationwide sensation after the broadcast and remains popular years later, as well as Mullae-dong Steel Alley, which emerged as a hot spot for Generation MZ and helped revitalize the local business district.

Beyond simply introducing popular eateries, the special will also follow up on the meaningful journey of 'Heo Young Man's Food Travel,' which elevated the value of Korean cuisine and sparked hope for small business owners, while also revealing surprise letters from many restaurant owners who appeared on the show.

It will also revisit vivid standout moments from the 365 guest stars who shared meaningful time with 'Heo Young Man's Food Travel,' along with the shining efforts of 'Heo Young-man,' who connected with the world and embraced his neighbors.
