Jun Hyun-moo, 'dramatic weight loss' looks like a completely different person... visibly gaunt, "because of stress" (Boss in the Mirror)

[Sportschosun, Reporter Kim Soo-hyun] Jun Hyun-moo, who will serve as a rookie caster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Latin America, revealed a changed appearance brought on by stress.

On the KBS 2TV program "Boss in the Mirror," which aired on the 21st, Jun Hyun-moo showed his passion for his first-ever soccer broadcast.

Jun Hyun-moo, who will take on play-by-play duties as a rookie caster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside commentator Lee Young-pyo, who is also 77 years old, was deep in practice.

Jun Hyun-moo, who came to the broadcast studio as usual that day, complained, "I really can't take this anymore. Soccer is so hard."

Lost in thought, Jun Hyun-moo asked announcer Nam Hyun-jong, who arrived later, for tips on identifying players on the field from the commentary booth. Nam advised him to pay attention to hairstyles and running form. He also shared a useful tip, saying, "Jersey numbers do not mean much."

Commentator Lee Young-pyo then arrived. Seeing Jun Hyun-moo with a throbbing headache at the thought of calling names, Lee teased him, asking, "Didn't you practice?" He added that the only way to get good at name calls is to watch a lot of games.

After barely finishing the broadcast, Jun Hyun-moo was criticized for lacking knowledge of soccer terminology. He grew emotional and said, "Is my hometown putting me through this kind of ordeal?"

There was also a gap in his commentary when the game became dull. In the end, Jun Hyun-moo began studying by watching broadcasts presented by caster Nam Hyun-jong.

As Jun Hyun-moo grew quiet and lost confidence, Kim Sook cheered him on enthusiastically, saying, "Hyun-moo, you can do it!"

Jun Hyun-moo, who said he was practicing broadcasts while sleeping only two hours a day, threw himself into training by repeating lines over and over.

A few days later, when broadcast practice resumed, Jun Hyun-moo appeared with a gaunt face. He complained, "It's because I'm stressed. I didn't really study, but my mind is in an uncomfortable state."

Unlike a few days earlier, Jun Hyun-moo showed much sharper focus and surprised everyone with far better commentary and smoother delivery.
