Kang Min-kyung Says She Has Mostly Eaten One Meal a Day and Cut Out White Rice: The Diet Secret Behind Her Youthful Figure at 36

[Sportschosun Lee Ji-hyun] Singer and entrepreneur Kang Min-kyung shared a summer day in her life, filled with her own eating habits, mukbang content, and exercise, saying she has long followed a one-meal-a-day routine.

In a vlog released on her YouTube channel on the 21st, Kang showed how much she enjoyed baendaengi sashimi, a seasonal dish from Ganghwa Island. She savored the sashimi she had ordered herself with Champagne and exclaimed, "It's the best sashimi I've ever had in my life."

Kang said, "After watching a mukbang video a few days ago, I could only think about baendaengi," and added, "I didn't have time to go all the way to Ganghwa Island, so I searched for it and found out it could be delivered the same day. I'm really grateful." She went on to say, "After 36 to 38 years, I finally discovered the real taste of baendaengi," and added, "It's in season until July, so I had to eat it quickly," expressing her satisfaction.

She was also candid about her usual eating habits. Kang said, "As you know, I do one meal a day. It's not literally every day, but I've lived most of my life that way, so every meal feels very delicious and precious." Even so, she praised the baendaengi sashimi highly, saying, "Even without all that context, it's truly delicious."

She also shared a glimpse of her life in the studio. Kang introduced the video editing software and camera equipment she has used for a long time, showing her content production process. Later that night, she ate a low-sugar lunchbox for dinner and said, "Not eating white rice has become such a habit that I try not to eat plain rice these days whenever possible."

After a busy schedule that included a Pilates class and a visit to a concert venue, Kang ended the day by making lemon butter burrata pasta herself after work. She said, "It's perfect when you want something healthy and refreshing in the summer," showing her satisfaction.

On the weekend, she also shared a small moment of happiness, enjoying pork belly and beer on the terrace after the rain. Kang said, "Meat eaten on a terrace where the green scent rises after rain is really delicious," conveying a relaxed weekend mood.

At the end of the video, Kang said, "It's starting to feel humid and hot. There are more mosquitoes too, and it really feels like summer has begun," and added, "I hope you all take good care of your meals and stay healthy through the summer."

Meanwhile, Kang has previously said that her figure management secrets include "doing high-intensity workouts four times a week, trying not to eat white rice as much as possible, and doing one meal a day for four to five days a week." Born in 1990, she continues to draw admiration for maintaining her unchanged figure in her mid-30s through consistent self-care.
