[Sportschosun, Lee Ji-hyun] Actress Yoon Joo shared an update in a hospital gown and opened up about how she feels ahead of surgery.

Yoon Joo recently posted a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown on her social media account, along with the caption, "It's been a very long time since I wore a hospital gown and went out. Why does it feel so familiar? As if I was out and about just yesterday, why?"

She then added, "I'll do well and go through it! Fighting!!!!" and included hashtags such as "#ThisIsTheLastSurgery #ThisIsTheEnd #Fighting." She also drew attention with a lighthearted remark: "But why have I gotten so fat? This is crazy! I'm going on a diet now! No feeding me!!"

Her hospital update has drawn interest because she previously went through a life-threatening battle with illness.

In April 2020, Yoon Joo revealed that she was battling acute liver failure. At the time, her liver function rapidly deteriorated due to side effects from antibiotics, and she endured a difficult period. After a long fight, she underwent a liver transplant in 2021 and has since focused on treatment and rehabilitation to recover her health.

In particular, because she referred to it as her "last surgery" in the post, fans have been sending messages of support such as, "I hope only healthy daily life remains for you now," and "I’m rooting for you to get through this safely."
