[Sportschosun Kim Joon-seok] Actress Jin Seo-yeon expressed frustration over the other driver's attitude after her parked car was hit in a so-called door-ding incident.
On the 22nd, Jin Seo-yeon shared the incident on her social media and described what happened in detail.
She began by saying, "I was sitting in my parked car when someone opened the door of the truck next to me and hit the rear bumper of my car."
She recalled, "I had turned off the engine and was sitting inside the car when it jolted. I went out and asked, 'Sir, are you okay?' and he said he was fine. But he never asked whether I was okay."
The problem was the other driver's reaction after the accident. Jin Seo-yeon said, "He kept insisting that the spot was not where his door-ding had happened," and added, "I felt the impact strongly enough to make the seat shake, but he still said it didn't happen."
She continued, "I said I wouldn't make an issue of it if it were just something that could be wiped off. But since it was a brand-new car and only that part was marked, he said it might have been hit." She expressed disbelief at the response.
She stressed, "My car has six cameras installed. The moment the door-ding happened was all recorded," and added, "Even though the video was already there, he still claimed it didn't happen."
Jin Seo-yeon said, "I told him several times that I wouldn't make a fuss if he just apologized," and added, "But he kept speaking indirectly and refused to admit it. He even told me to call the police if I didn't believe him."
In the end, she did receive an apology, but said it did not feel satisfying.
She said, "I told him one more time that it was fine and that all he needed to do was apologize, and in the end I got an apology only after practically begging for it," adding, "My mind still feels as uncomfortable as the sticky humidity."
