KBS's new variety show, 'Happy Together: Glad Not to Be Alone' (hereinafter 'Happy Together'), is a storytelling music audition program in which Yoo Jae-suk listens to people, Jang Hang-jun listens to stories, and Yoon Jong-shin listens to music as they explore the narratives and harmony of various 'life teammates.' It marks the show's return after six years, following a 20-year run that began in 2001 and made it a cornerstone of KBS entertainment. In particular, the so-called 'three men with thick-rimmed glasses' — Yoo Jae-suk, Jang Hang-jun, and Yoon Jong-shin — will join as the three MCs.
Among them, 'Happy Together' has confirmed Lee Hyo-ri and Kang Min-kyung as special MCs who will join the three MCs, drawing attention. Lee Hyo-ri, the show's original hostess, will be the first special MC and is expected to delight viewers. She has long been loved by the public as Yoo Jae-suk's 'national siblings' partner. Recently, a video of Lee Hyo-ri, Yoo Jae-suk, Jang Hang-jun, and Yoon Jong-shin taking part in ILLIT's 'It's Me' challenge drew an explosive response. Kang Min-kyung will follow as the second special MC and is expected to be a strong supporting presence. With her musical expertise as well as her candid and witty speaking style, she is expected to show a fresh chemistry with the three MCs.
The production team of 'Happy Together' said, "Lee Hyo-ri and Kang Min-kyung both showed great chemistry with Yoo Jae-suk, Jang Hang-jun, and Yoon Jong-shin, and gave 'Happy Together' a bright and energetic start." Meanwhile, 'Happy Together' will premiere on July 10 at 8:30 p.m.
