[Sportschosun reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Kim Yuna shared how she feels after getting married.
On the 26th, a video titled "Queen Yuna's flirting method? Like this, like this" was released on Elle Korea's YouTube channel.
In the video, Kim Yuna took time to answer fans' concerns through the "ELLE Advice Corner" segment.
When asked, "What does marriage mean?" Kim Yuna said, "I've only been married for a short time, so I feel like I'm still too much of a beginner to talk about the meaning of marriage."
She added, "I don't think you need to set marriage as a deadline. Since it's not something you can force, I think you can do it when someone you want to marry comes along."
Kim Yuna also opened up about what she has newly felt after marriage, saying, "It feels like I've gained a friend I can talk to for life and rely on. It gives me a reassuring feeling."
She continued, "Legally, that person is your guardian, but I felt that we are each other's protectors. I think I really felt that marriage is not just about a man and a woman, but about becoming someone who protects and looks after each other."
When asked how to naturally make plans with someone she is interested in, Kim Yuna advised, "The most natural way would probably be something like, 'Let's go eat something delicious.' But it's not easy to make that kind of suggestion yourself, so I think it's better to guide things smoothly."
Asked about her own flirting tips, she burst into laughter and said, "I can't flirt anymore. Flirting is banned."
She went on to say, "Rather than doing anything openly, I think it just happened naturally, like this and that." She added, "If it's a relationship meant to happen, I think it will unfold naturally."
Meanwhile, Kim Yuna married Forestella member Ko Woo-rim, who is five years younger than her, in 2022.
