[Sportschosun Reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Actress Baek Jin-hee candidly explained why she sells luxury shoes through secondhand trading.
On the 27th, the YouTube channel "Jinny Is Back" released a video titled "I Can't Do a House Tour Twice... Baek Jin-hee's Real Home Reveal, Started in Earnest and Got My Soul Sucked Out."
In the video, Baek Jin-hee showed her entryway shoe cabinet and explained, "I mostly wear sneakers, so I think I only have about two pairs of high-heeled shoes."
She then took out the first Chanel sneakers she ever bought and confessed, "I think I bought these in my early 20s, but after trying them once, they weren't comfortable, so I never bought them again."
She added, "I liked that kind of thing in my 20s. I bought Chanel, Hermes, and Prada in every style, but in the end I sold all but a few through Karrot. Comfort comes first."
The shoe cabinet across from it was also packed with sneakers. Baek Jin-hee took out Chanel flats and Chanel flip-flops that had been stored in a box and said, "If I wear them for a long time, it feels like my toes will break, so I don't wear them much. I think I should sell them on Karrot."
She also explained the luxury boxes stacked in her dressing room. "After each project ended, I bought a bag as a way of saying I worked hard. But now bags are too expensive, so I can't buy them anymore and I buy rings instead. But gold prices have gone up so much that I can't even buy rings now," she said, drawing laughter.
She also introduced two Chanel bags and a Dior bag, honestly saying, "They're expensive, but they're inconvenient because they don't hold much and are hard to take things in and out of."
Baek Jin-hee, who said she usually uses eco-bags the most, revealed a large box full of her eco-bag collection, saying, "I have an enormous number of eco-bags." As she introduced them one by one, she eventually seemed exhausted and declared, "I'm done buying them now," drawing more laughter.
