[Sportschosun reporter Jeong An-ji] Model Jang Yoon-ju shared a funny but bittersweet story about praying for her husband’s leg to hurt during their honeymoon.
On the 27th, a video titled "'Actually, on our honeymoon...' YOONJOUR's confession on their 11th wedding anniversary, declaring love in the Philippines" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "YOONJOUR."
In the video, Jang Yoon-ju was talking about how she and her husband have different travel styles when she revealed an unexpected behind-the-scenes story. Her husband said, "Jang Yoon-ju recently told me that she prayed for my leg to break during our honeymoon," and Jang laughed as she explained what happened at the time.
Jang Yoon-ju said, "I can't live without my husband. He has to be my hands and feet," and asked, "Sometimes he looks a little tired. Is it frustrating that I can't do things myself?" Her husband replied calmly, "I think I felt that way at first. But now we've been married for 11 years," adding, "These days, I just think it's something I naturally have to do," drawing warm reactions.
At that point, her husband said, "She recently told me that she prayed for my leg to break during our honeymoon." Jang Yoon-ju then recalled their month-long trip, which took them from Paris, France, to Nice, Lyon, and Denmark.
She said, "We went to see an exhibition, and there was a day when we kept getting lost and walking around. It felt like my husband was training me," adding, "After about a month, I thought, 'God, this is a little hard. I want to stop walking now. He doesn't seem to have any intention of stopping.'" She then admitted, "I even prayed, 'Please make his leg hurt a little too. I hope he twists it just a bit,'" making everyone laugh.
Jang Yoon-ju also said honestly, "I'm stubborn too, so I kept following him, thinking, 'I can walk that much too.'" She added, "Right before we came back to Seoul, I even got a stye in my eye. That's how hard it was for me to keep up with my husband's travel style."
