Jung Hyung-don: "I Haven't Seen It Since Leaving 'Infinite Challenge'... I Was Out of My Mind for Six Months"

[Sportschosun Reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Broadcaster Jung Hyung-don looked back on the difficult time when he left "Infinite Challenge."

On the 27th, a video titled "When Hawasu Got Together, the Blessing of Fun Stories Never Ends... Jung Jun-ha X Park Myung-soo X Jung Hyung-don (Part 2)" was released on the YouTube channel "Hawasu."

In the video, Park Myung-soo asked Jung Hyung-don, "You were doing 'Infinite Challenge,' but you had to step away because you weren't feeling well. Did you watch 'Infinite Challenge' after that?"

Jung Hyung-don replied, "Honestly, I didn't watch it. I'm not sure whether I avoided it on purpose or just couldn't bring myself to watch it psychologically, but for almost six months after quitting, I was not in my right mind."

He continued, "I went all the way to a remote corner of Australia, to a completely cut-off world," adding, "I even changed my phone number back then."

Jung Hyung-don said cautiously, "It has been so long since I left, and I really enjoy meeting the older brothers, but coming out here and talking about this all the time..." He added, "('Infinite Challenge') was the hardest part of my life, but it is also true that it was a shining and beautiful part of it."

When asked which member he worked best with on 'Infinite Challenge,' Jung Hyung-don answered, "I think it was different for each project. We did so many projects." He added, "Depending on the kind of project I liked, the chemistry with the right person was different."

As his most memorable 'Infinite Challenge' episode, he chose the "India special." He recalled, "As soon as we arrived in India, we started filming. We had originally requested 10 ENG cameras from a local company. But they painted five boxes black and filmed as if they were cameras."

Jung Jun-ha also said, "I'm not criticizing India. We were massively scammed by the local production team. They sent us photos saying it was a desert, but when we got there, they had just spread some sand around, and the back was a complete tropical rainforest." He added, "The teacher who taught yoga finished the lesson, moved to another spot, and was playing a cobra flute."

Jung Hyung-don said, "What I remember most is how disappointing it was that the things we had prepared at the time did not go as planned. It stands out even more because it didn't go the way we wanted."
