Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics recently held the first DEEP Symposium of 2026.
DEEP, short for the Daewoong·DNC Aesthetics Medical Aesthetic Expert Program, is a specialized training program run by the two companies to provide medical professionals with the latest academic content and clinical insights in the medical aesthetics field.
About 200 people, including medical professionals and speakers who use the medical aesthetics portfolios of Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics, attended the symposium held on May 19 at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences. The event was also livestreamed online via webinar.
Through the symposium, Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics shared the academic value and clinical application strategies of the botulinum toxin Nabota and the calcium hydroxylapatite-based collagen booster DCLASSY CaHA.
Three lectures were delivered at the symposium. They included Carmelo Crisafulli, who shared global CaHA treatment trends and clinical applications; Hong Ki-woong, academic director of the Minimally Invasive Plastic Surgery Society and director of Samskin Plastic Surgery Clinic, who introduced the DCLASSY CaHA-based treatment protocol CAST Code; and Ji-Soo Kook, chief academic director of the Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Society (ASLS) and director of Itsme Clinic Ansan, who presented clinical insights on the combined Nabota and DCLASSY CaHA treatment strategy called Collagen Velvet. The program covered a broad range of academic content, from global treatment trends to standardized procedures and real-world clinical cases. In particular, the event introduced CAST Code, a standardized DCLASSY CaHA-based treatment protocol developed by DNC Aesthetics.
Meanwhile, this DEEP Symposium went beyond a simple product introduction and served as an academic platform for sharing global treatment trends, standardized protocols, and real clinical experience. Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics plan to hold the DEEP Program regularly, expand academic education for medical professionals, and continue providing clinical content based on their medical aesthetics portfolio, including Nabota and DCLASSY CaHA.
