As South Korea becomes a super-aged society and AI healthcare technology advances, the health management and care functions of residential spaces are drawing attention. In line with this trend, more apartment complexes are introducing AI-based health monitoring and healthcare services.

Keeping pace with this shift, Daewoong Pharmaceutical will sign an MOU with ARK, a company specializing in early screening for complications of chronic diseases using artificial intelligence, to cooperate on health management services for 'SANVEL,' a premium AI healthcare lounge based in residential complexes.

'SANVEL' is a premium AI healthcare lounge service created within apartment communities. It is designed so residents can easily check their health status at an on-site lounge, receive early warnings about potential health risks through AI-based analysis, and, if needed, get guidance to nearby medical services.

Daewoong Pharmaceutical will provide health functional foods and digital healthcare capabilities needed to operate the SANVEL healthcare lounge and manage residents' health. It will also support the use of its chronic disease management solutions and digital healthcare capabilities on the SANVEL platform and lounge services. ARK will lead the planning, development and operation of SANVEL, while also carrying out sales and marketing activities for customers and potential partners. The two companies also plan to continue discussions on developing customized SANVEL services and specialized programs.

ARK previously signed an MOU with POSCO E&C and agreed to create programs that can monitor health in sales complexes, helping residents manage their health in daily life.

Park Hyung-cheol, head of Daewoong Pharmaceutical's ETC Marketing Division, said, "Through our cooperation with ARK, we will provide a new healthcare lifestyle that allows residents to check and prevent health issues in their daily lives."
