[Sportschosun, Jang Jong-ho] An Israeli woman influencer was shot while broadcasting live from a restaurant, shocking viewers.
According to local media outlets including Ynetnews, Israeli TikTok influencer Ragad Karoub, 22, was shot by an assailant on the 14th, local time, while she was livestreaming from a restaurant in Jaffa, a port city in Tel Aviv.
At the time of the attack, Karoub was broadcasting alone, and thousands of followers were watching in real time. Part of the shooting was streamed live, leaving viewers deeply shocked.
She survived thanks to the rapid response and transport by rescue crews. She was initially classified as critically ill after being hit by multiple bullets, but her condition was later reported to have stabilized.
Police said they had found no indication that the incident was linked to terrorism and were investigating a range of possibilities, including a personal grudge or ties to organized crime.
