[Sportschosun Jeong Bit] Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC)'s new variety show 'Play-er Coaster' has revealed the cast members' reasons for joining and key points to watch ahead of its premiere.
MBC's 'Play-er Coaster,' which premieres on the 21st, is a travel variety show that follows the cast as they visit amusement parks and rides around the world.
Noh Hong-chul, Choi Kang-rok, Ko Kyung-pyo, and Pani Bottle will appear on the show. They said they joined the program for different reasons.
Noh Hong-chul said, "I usually travel around the world looking for theme parks, and I liked the idea of doing that with people who share the same taste."
Choi Kang-rok said he was reminded of his childhood after being invited to visit theme parks around the world.
Ko Kyung-pyo said, "Through 'Play-er Coaster,' I came to think that it's okay to like something for no particular reason," while Pani Bottle explained, "The concept of traveling around the theme of amusement parks felt fresh."
In particular, Choi Kang-rok, who is usually known for his introverted personality, said, "Through this trip, I realized how important the people you're with are," adding, "Thanks to the members' consideration, I was able to travel comfortably."
Ko Kyung-pyo said of Noh Hong-chul, "His attitude toward life and the way he focuses on the moment were impressive," while Pani Bottle mentioned an interactive theme park in Okinawa, Japan, as a place he would like to visit together in the future.
The key points to watch include information about theme parks around the world, the process of experiencing rides, and the changing relationships among the four cast members.
The character posters released along with the announcement show the four enjoying an amusement park. Interest is growing in what kind of travel stories the cast members, each with their own tastes and personalities, will present.
MBC's 'Play-er Coaster' will premiere on the 21st at 9:10 p.m.
