[Sportschosun reporter Jiyoung Jo] Netflix's series "True Education" (written by Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Da-hee and Moon Jong-ho; directed by Hong Jong-chan) remained No. 1 in Netflix's Global Top 10 non-English shows in its third week after release.
"True Education" recorded 11.8 million views, calculated by dividing total viewing time by the work's total running time, and 126.2 million viewing hours. It held onto the No. 1 spot in the Global Top 10 non-English shows for a third consecutive week, drawing attention. In addition, "True Education" ranked No. 1 in 19 countries, including South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia, and made the Top 10 list in 85 countries.
Since its release, "True Education" has continued its strong box-office momentum amid enthusiastic responses from viewers around the world. It has stayed No. 1 on "Today's Top 10 Series in South Korea" since release, and it also reached No. 1 in the global rankings in just its first week.

Based on the webtoon of the same name by writers Chae Yong-taek and Han Ga-ram, "True Education" depicts the satisfying and refreshing efforts of the Korean Educational Rights Protection Bureau, which was created to protect the country's education system from overstepping students, teachers and parents. The series stars Kim Moo-yeol, Lee Sung-min, Jin Ki-joo and Pyo Ji-hoon. It was written by Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Da-hee and Moon Jong-ho, who also wrote "Daily Dose of Sunshine," and directed by Hong Jong-chan, known for "Juvenile Justice" and "Mr. Plankton."
