[Sportschosun, Jeong Bit] Group Andble is teaming up with Japanese major label Epic Records Japan to target the local market.
In May, Andble signed a Japanese debut contract with Epic Records Japan, a label under Sony Music Labels, which is part of Sony Music Entertainment Japan, one of the world's top three music companies. Ahead of its official local debut, the group has secured a major label partnership, giving its activities in Japan a strong boost.
The group's first mini album, "Sequence 01: Curiosity," released in Korea in May, delivered impressive results right from the start. Based on Hanteo Chart data, it sold more than 730,000 copies in its first week, placing it among the top four debut albums by a group in first-week sales. The title track, "Curious," also earned two music show wins just eight days after debut, underscoring the group's strong presence.
The response in Japan has also been enthusiastic. Even before its official debut, Andble climbed to the upper ranks of major album charts, proving the high level of interest. "Sequence 01: Curiosity" ranked No. 2 on Tower Records' overall weekly album chart across all stores, No. 2 on Billboard Japan's download album chart, and No. 4 on Oricon's weekly combined album ranking.
Buoyed by this popularity, Andble will hold its show concert, "2026 AND2BLE SHOW CONCERT: Welcome to Qurious," at K-Arena Yokohama in Japan from June 30 to July 2, and at GLION ARENA KOBE from July 11 to 12. Under the "Curiosity Study Club" concept, the group plans to meet local fans with a variety of stages, including the title track "Curious."
