'Together, Brilliantly Divine - Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip,' which premieres at 9:10 p.m. on July 4, is a special program created to mark the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of the drama 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God' ('Goblin'), which sparked a global sensation. Produced as part of tvN's 20th anniversary edition, the show will follow Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, Yoo In-na and other key cast members as they take a nostalgic trip to Gangneung.
The newly released teaser for episode 1 opens at Jumunjin Beach in Gangneung. At the symbolic spot where Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) first summoned the goblin Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) in the drama, Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun recreate memorable scenes with a red scarf and buckwheat flower props, stirring up nostalgia for viewers who loved the series. The return of the Peach Couple, Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na, after 10 years adds even more excitement as the four actors appear just as they did before.
The newly unveiled 'Kkaebi House' is another major point of anticipation. Iconic props from the drama are placed throughout the house, promising a special trip down memory lane for both the cast and viewers. From Eun-tak's exam admission ticket to the red door that crossed time and space between Quebec and Korea, the set creates the feeling of stepping back into the world of 'Goblin' from 10 years ago.
But the trip quickly turns unpredictable, as the reunited group shows off chemistry that is anything but ordinary from the very start. Kim Go-eun, the youngest member, throws everyone off with an unexpected move, leaving Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na scrambling. At the seaside, where they went to revisit old memories, an unexpected surge of rough waves greets them, hinting at a chaotic travel story ahead.
Long-buried behind-the-scenes stories and an unexpected round of revelations are also adding to the intrigue. In the closing moments of the teaser, Lee Dong-wook is seen apologizing to Yoo In-na, asking, "Did I really call you XXX?" The sight of the four actors laughing nonstop throughout the trip raises expectations for chemistry that has never been seen anywhere else. Their special journey, filled with memories, excitement and laughter, is drawing even more curiosity about what the full broadcast will bring.
