'Wild Thing' Still Has More to Show... Triangle's 'Shout It Out' Released, the Song That Kept Oh Jung-se's 'I Like You' at No. 2 for 39 Straight Weeks

[Sportschosun Jorge Young] The comedy film 'Wild Thing' (directed by Son Jae-gon, produced by About Film) has unveiled Triangle's stage performance, which drew attention through its post-credits scene.

The newly released video is the full encore performance of Triangle's second album title track, 'Shout It Out,' the song that briefly appeared in the film and sparked viewers' curiosity, as well as in the second post-credits scene.

Unlike the bright charm of their debut song, 'Love Is,' 'Shout It Out' is a hybrid dance track with a heavy late-1990s sound and blunt social criticism of environmental issues, wrapped in a Y2K metal-inspired aesthetic. Its bold visuals, which evoke cyber warriors, and its addictive performance command attention.

In particular, the song adds humor by showing the group returning to the stage and immediately taking No. 1 on a music show, while giving ballad king Choi Seong-gon (Oh Jung-se) a legendary(?) streak of 39 consecutive weeks at No. 2.

In the released video, Triangle members basking in the joy of their No. 1 win grab the spotlight. Leader Hyun-woo (Gang Dong-won) delivers dance, vocals, and rap flawlessly, Sang-gu (Uhm Tae-goo) leaves a strong impression with a brief but powerful rap, and Byun Do-mi (Park Ji-hyun) dominates the stage with undeniable center energy. Their chemistry is amplified by the passionate cheers and support from the packed audience of the Red-Blue-Purple Squad, Triangle's official fandom, creating the immersive feel of a real music show performance.

'Wild Thing' follows Triangle, a mixed-gender dance group that once swept the music scene but disbanded after an unexpected incident, as it gets a chance to make a comeback after more than 20 years and heads back to the stage. The film stars Gang Dong-won, Uhm Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se, and was directed by Son Jae-gon, known for 'My Scary Girl' and 'Haechi-ji-ana.'
